The Central Seat allocation Board ( CSAB ) and the Joint Admission Board ( JAB ) were conducting the JEE counselling at their own level but in the year 2021 they have collaborated and are officially known as Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA). For the engineering candidates, now an online counselling will be done. On 2 may 2015 memo was signed. The IITs and ISM Dhanbad was represented by the JAB.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority
Joint Seat Allocation Authority- JoSAA provides a common platform for to apply online in various engineering colleges. There are various colleges IITs, NITs, ISM and GFTIs where every engineering aspirant put his best to take admissions in these colleges. The reason for the collaboration was that the students used to reserve the multiple seats for them due to which at the end many seats remained vacant.
So in order to eliminate that collaboration was done. Now by single registration, they can apply to numerous colleges. The process of filing will start in June 2021. On July 2021, the first round of allotment of sweats will be done. Only qualifiers of JEE main 2021 and JEE advanced 2021 can only participate.
